She added that the company’s team in charge for the projects in Russia resides in Rovio’s headquarters and counts 20 people, who speak Russian. Russia is one of the top five strategically important countries for the company. Rovio develops games in Russia and sells thematic products.
Salonen said that the company’s partner, developer Fort Group, had delayed the launch of the first Angry Birds amusement park in St. Petersburg. The park will be opened in March-May 2015.
