BANGKOK, August 14 -- Prime Minister/Defense Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha said today he personally has confidence in the stability of his government regarding the performance of all the elected cabinet ministers.
The premier commented further, that parliamentary affairs are another issue and that all parties should join hands and perform for the benefit of national and public interests. He commented that fake news has been used for political gain as earlier anticipated. He said members of the public may make inquiries with the government about such matters via various channels.

The premier denied he would hold talks or lunch with any splinter parties on Thursday, and had no idea if anyone else was planning to do so.
